Had a great experience shopping for a bedroom set. Anthony was very knowledgeable and matched my sarcasm (almost;), which made it fun. He wasn’t pushy and didn’t try to oversell me, other than a luxurious throw that I wore around the store. In all seriousness, great experience and am looking forward to getting my new bedroom furniture in the next couple of weeks & getting my basement refinished too!
Our sales rep Carl was amazing. We came in a few weeks before our closing to take a look and see if they had any items that my wife and I liked. We wanted to finance some items and wouldn’t be able to do that until our home purchase closed. That evening he didn’t push us to make any decisions and periodically checked in on us during the weeks leading up to our closing. After we closed on our home we went to see Carl and buy our furniture. We could have went to a store closer to home but being in sales I appreciated his no pressure tactics. If we have any future furniture purchases, we’ll be sure to start our search there.
The reason for my 3 stars is because they have acceptance now in the building. Let me start off by saying my sales rep Dino was extremely helpful and professional. Every salesperson on the floor we spoke to and even the lady who set up a delivery was wonderful. However, the lady from Acceptance Now had horrible customer service, did not seem to know how to do her job, and told me it was required for me to have insurance and some type of discount program added to the service. I am a type person who actually reads the contract and when I read it it told me that I do not have to accept either one of those things. When I ask to have it removed the lady would not remove it. The only reason I was going to do the acceptance now program was to help build my credit a little bit more. My experience was so terrible that I ended up paying cash for the furniture I purchased. Ashley Furniture, if you would like to have five stars and you guys really need to get rid of Acceptance Now. If not, please train the representatives for that company. They are making you look very bad and making business look Shady. Once again, thank you Dino so much for doing an outstanding job!
Our sales person was Catherine Johnson and she could not have been more friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend her to anyone who wanted to buy some furniture at your store. I feel that she gave my husband and I some very great prices on our entertainment console and end tables. We will probably come back at a later date and buy some more furniture to match from her.
It would be very nice to know that the warehouse with all the in-stock items in it closes at 5pm every day, when the store is open until 9pm. So nothing can be taken home day-of even if it's small and in a box. The excuse is "no one up front would dare go back there." Well, if that is the case you should probably put that online or on the door where your hours are. Or tell customers that when they say they are coming back for something later, it would've been great to know there was a time limit. Very frustrating. Especially because the warehouse is apparently just closed Sundays and Mondays, also not advertised. Then there is a charge for delivery! So make it impossible to pick up and then charge extra to deliver it. Everyone was condescending like we should've known this or something. And being 25 it is extremly irritating being told I look "too young to be buying furniture on my own." Not going back.
