Bought a new Homesteader 2 horse trailer, model 214fb. Searched every where and this dealer had the best price. Very well built trailer! The salesman was on top of everthing, very impressed. Highly recommended!
As soon as I drove it off the lot (after I filled it up, mind you -- it was left on E for a reason) it had issues. It began to make strange noises coming from what seemed to be the drivers front side under the wheel. I took it straight away to a tire place across the street and they told me that whoever sold it to me replaced half of what needed to be replaced and left the rest to us. We signed a "buy as is" contract so we (my dad & I) couldn't go back and complain.
Good and fair people. Excellent prices for what you get. Very fair and would most definitely buy from them again.
Several months later now, I'm STILL having issues with the car. I've had the breaks changed (which were almost out) as well as those things near the tire replaced. It's left me stranded several times - and yet when I first got it - it seemed fine. The whole dang computer is having issues... and the guy who worked on it informed us that it was in a rather serious wreck that could have triggered the whole onset of the problems. There are also RECALLS that had been put out for this particular model that could have been fixed before being sold - that were not fixed. More time lost for me.
When we checked out a 2006 Chevy Malibu here - it looked great - drove great on the test run, and it was priced for about $5,000.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY SEEM FRIENDLY BUT THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. They didn't have a lot of answers to questions my dad had either. Their "I don't know" - I'm sure, wasn't one of ignorance.
Sent Jerry Moody Auto an email about price on trailer. Ask if that was that best price because I could buy the same trailer cheaper. Matt sent me a what I thought was a rude response. Will not bother them again!!
I bought a 7x14 homesteader trailer from them and a week later I opened the side door and door latch didn't even line up. I called and talked to Caleb the guy that didn't mind taking the 4300 in cash from my hand a week earlier. He told me that the trailer was a Friday trailer meaning it was lower quality because the factory workers didn't care. If they couldn't fix this small issue they don't deserve ant new buisiness from me. THIS SHOWS THEY CARE NOTHING FOR THE CUSTOMER AFTER THEY GET THE MONEY IN THEIR HANDS. DON'T BUY FROM THEM, BEWARE!!
